On the morning of the second day, I walked from Cattle Flat to the Dart hut. In the afternoon I walked up the track towards the Cascade saddle. The photo shows that upper Dart valley and Mt Edward 2620m. See my site, Matukituki -- West Branch, for photos of the top of the Dart valley.
