In January 2014 there was a massive slip on the true-right of the Dart valley at Slip Stream which blocked the river and created a lake several kilometres long. Large sections of the track were destroyed. There are new sections of track joining the remaining parts of the old track, but these involve much up and down, and so the walk to Daleys flat hut takes about an hour longer than before.
